Looking up from within the palm grove in Palm canyon. These wild palms are native to the area, and sometimes reach an age of 1000 years. There was a tremendous flash flood back in september, a 10-foot wall of water, which wiped out hundreds of trees - over half of the grove - but the oldest, largest trees survived due to deep roots.
